Pan Asian MicroVent To Build a new Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) factory

8 August 2022 –Pan Asian MicroVent (“MicroVENT®”) (SH:688386) today announced that it plans to build an advanced factory for Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) program .

Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) is the core component of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC), which plays a key role in the performance of the cell. It not only has barrier function, but also has proton conduction function. Proton exchange membrane is widely used downstream, mainly in fuel cell, hydrogen production by electrolysis of water and energy storage system of all-vanadium flow battery. Proton exchange membrane is the core basic material of hydrogen fuel cell. MicroVENT® is engaged in the research, development, production and sales of proton exchange membranes based on its core technology of Venting ePTFE membranes. MicroVENT® has successfully developed the first generation hydrogen proton exchange membrane for source hydrogen. In the next step, the enterprise will form an industrial scale as soon as possible and gradually enter the stage of stable operation and production.
